Asana integration

Asana + Rereflect

Stop copy-pasting customer feedback into Asana by hand. Rereflect connects to Asana with a personal access token and lets you create tasks — with sentiment and customer context attached — straight from any feedback item.

Fig. 01 — How it works

Up and running in minutes.

01

Connect Asana

Paste a personal access token to authorize Rereflect — no OAuth redirect required.

02

Create Tasks from Feedback

Pick a workspace and project, then create an Asana task directly from any feedback item — pre-filled with the feedback content and AI context.

03

Track the Link & Sync Status Back

Rereflect keeps a link between the feedback item and the Asana task — turn on status-sync and the feedback follows the task, moving to Resolved when it is completed (and back if it reopens).

Built for this channel.

Token-Based Connection

Connect with a personal Asana access token — no OAuth app to register, no admin approval workflow required.

One-Click Task Creation

Turn any feedback item into an Asana task in a couple of clicks, pre-filled with name, notes, and customer context.

Workspace & Project Picker

Choose which Asana workspace and project each task is created in — no hardcoded defaults.

Feedback-to-Task Linking

Every created task is linked back to the originating feedback item, so context is never lost.

Duplicate-Safe

Creating a task twice from the same feedback item surfaces the existing linked task instead of silently duplicating it.

Status Sync (Poll + Real-Time)

Opt in and Rereflect follows linked Asana tasks — the feedback item moves to Resolved when the task is completed, via a 15-minute poll plus an optional real-time webhook.

Fig. 03 — Use cases

Who it helps.

We used to manually re-type customer complaints into Asana tasks. Now I create the task right from the feedback card and the customer context comes with it.

B2B SaaS, Asana-based roadmap

Every escalation that turns into an Asana task keeps a link back to the original feedback, so nobody has to ask "wait, who reported this?"

Fig. 04 — Setup

Connect in four steps.

01
Go to Settings → Integrations

Navigate to your Rereflect dashboard and open the Integrations page.

02
Mint an Asana Personal Access Token

In Asana, go to your profile settings → Apps → Manage Developer Apps → Create new token, and copy it.

03
Paste your token into Rereflect

In Rereflect, go to Settings → Integrations → Asana and paste the personal access token you just created.

04
Rereflect validates the connection

Rereflect verifies the token against your Asana account and encrypts it at rest. You'll see a connected status once it succeeds.

05
Create your first task

Open any feedback item, choose "Create Asana Task," pick a workspace and project, and Rereflect creates a linked Asana task for you.
