Zendesk Integration

Zendesk + Rereflect

Your Zendesk tickets are the richest, highest-intent customer feedback you have. Rereflect connects with a subdomain, agent email, and API token — then analyzes every new ticket for sentiment, pain points, and churn risk, and maps it to the requester in Customer 360. No manual CSV exports.

How it works

Get up and running in minutes. No complex setup required.

1

Connect Zendesk

Paste your Zendesk subdomain, agent email, and an API token to authorize Rereflect — no OAuth redirect required.

2

Tickets Flow In

Rereflect polls for new tickets automatically from the moment you connect. Want real-time? Wire an optional Zendesk trigger/webhook.

3

AI Extracts Insights

Every ticket is analyzed for sentiment, categorized, flagged for churn risk, and mapped to the requester in Customer 360.

4

Status Syncs Back

Turn on status-sync and the feedback item follows the ticket — moving to In Review or Resolved as the agent works it, via a 15-minute poll plus an optional real-time webhook trigger.

Powerful features

Everything you need to turn support tickets into actionable insights.

Ticket Analysis

Each ticket's subject and description are analyzed for sentiment, pain points, and feature requests — automatically.

Automatic Sync

New tickets are pulled in on a schedule from the moment you connect. No manual CSV exports, no batch jobs.

Real-Time Webhooks

Wire an optional Zendesk trigger/webhook for instant delivery — HMAC-signed and verified over the raw request body.

Requester Mapping

Every ticket is mapped to its requester by email, feeding Customer 360, health scores, and churn signals like any other source.

Churn Risk Detection

AI flags frustrated customers from ticket tone and content before they cancel — so you can step in early.

Exactly-Once Ingestion

Tickets are de-duplicated by ticket ID across polling and webhooks, so you never get duplicate feedback for the same ticket.

Status Sync (Poll + Real-Time)

Opt in and Rereflect keeps the feedback item's status in step with the Zendesk ticket — a 15-minute poll works behind any firewall, and an optional webhook trigger applies the change the moment an agent updates the ticket.

Get Started

Set up in 7 simple steps

1

Go to Settings → Integrations

Navigate to your Rereflect dashboard and open the Integrations page.

2

Create a Zendesk API token

In Zendesk Admin Center → Apps and integrations → APIs → Zendesk API, enable token access and add an API token. Copy it — Zendesk shows it once.

3

Paste your credentials into Rereflect

Enter your subdomain (the {subdomain} in {subdomain}.zendesk.com), the agent email that owns the token, and the API token.

4

Rereflect validates & starts ingesting

Rereflect verifies the token, encrypts it at rest, and creates a Zendesk feedback source so new tickets flow in. The token is never shown again.

5

Optional: turn on real-time

Copy the webhook URL and signing secret from Rereflect, then create a Zendesk webhook and a "Ticket is created" trigger pointing at it. Otherwise Rereflect polls automatically.

6

Watch tickets become feedback

New tickets appear within minutes — analyzed for sentiment and mapped to the requester in Customer 360.

7

Optional: turn on status-sync

Enable status-sync to keep feedback status matched to the ticket — via the 15-minute poll always, plus a second "Ticket updated" trigger on the same webhook (tagged "event": "ticket.status_changed") for instant updates.
